調適一下，來塗鴉吧。

以前紙跟筆是我的作業，電腦是我的遊戲；現在的我用電腦辦公，紙跟筆是我的娛樂。

做到很鬱悶的時候，拿廢紙塗鴉也挺好的。那天還用了紙皮箱做了一個設計的Prototype。同事都用很莫名其妙的眼神看著我：“你三八啊？” =P

冷氣機

不知道冷氣機是不是聽到我午餐時間跟我的同事在它背後說它的壞話。
說它經常躲懶，讓我們坐那一帶的同事都飽受空氣不流通的悶；又說它卻偶爾發神經，突然吹下一陣風卻又立刻停了，讓正中下方的我的體感反應不過來。

也許太冷的那個是我。

不過原因不太重要。反正那天冷氣就是出奇的正常。正常到我沒有懷疑它。現在想想，它可能累積已久的怨氣，不滿，不爽，不高興，不屑終於到了一個臨界點；於是那天它不動聲色，準備好了一切，可是卻發現那天天氣很好，正在猶豫著到底要--還是不要--要---還是不要---不要---突然聽到那個該死的四眼仔用金手指篤它背脊--終於成為了壓死駱駝的最後一根稻草。

那天。它哭了。（還是流汗？以這個程度來看應該是流口水吧？）一定是哭了。（想像一下我坐在下面，上面居然在流口水，流汗，實在太恐怖了--所以一定是流淚。）眼淚一開始是強忍住的。累積了很久，從眼眶慢慢地流過鼻樑，液體的軌跡牽動著面上的神經，一點癢癢的感覺，眼線隨之又拉了一下，又一滴。兩滴在嘴角處交匯，上面的水珠仍在累積，體積慢慢增加的淚珠隨著表面張力和重力的作用下拉成一個長尾巴的球體--仍在膨脹，仍在膨脹。一直到尾巴越來越細，最後終於不支斷開的連接處，分裂成那個大的，和更多更多細小的水珠。

回到現實，我什麼都看不到。我看到的只有突然從天而降的災難。這中感覺是“FXXXK YOOU"被鎖在喉嚨裡澎湃著，只等待那幾個X字變成剪刀把嘴唇撬開。但我不能，這會影響我在老板面前的形象，這會影響我年終的花紅，會影響我年中的調薪，會影響---於是我立刻把它們拆散，重組，說Oh My Goodness. 不要問我怎樣可以把FXXXK YOOU重組成Oh My Goodness，這不是我的專業，更不是我的份內事項。

一開始還以為只是一滴，過了五分鐘後，來了一灘。流彈似乎隨時打中電腦的Monitor。緊張得我衝忙通知了一位上司，同事安排了一下，讓修理人員明天一早過來。我拿了把傘，但傘不合用。又拿了個桶。卻見情況越來越糟，另一位上司見狀關了冷氣。

我以為慣了冷氣應該沒有問題了。雖然心有餘慮，當下只是把屏幕推到一邊，但不考慮開電腦了，只好到離開桌面的辦公作業做點別的。那時候心想，冷氣漏水我見多了，可沒見過這樣流法的。

過了一個多小時左右，我隔壁的同事出來見了我，說我出來後一陣子水反而流得更多了，最後把大家都驚動，把屏幕移開，老闆跟另一位同事爬到桌面上打開了蓋子，才發現冷氣的三個邊慢慢都是冰。也就是說關了冷氣後，冰在融解中。水會一直流到融完為止。

耗了上面大概一千字的廢話，其實我只想說。有時發現情況非比尋常，需要帶點敏感度，可以的話積極一點主動出擊，不能一味的僥倖心理以為只是小事一樁。如果一開始在通知相關單位後，發現似乎有點誇張，我就爬上去看個究竟的話也許大家就更能從容的應付了。別說這與我無關，不是我的專業，我來不是做這個的，然後丟到一邊去。

電器都沒有觸水短路燒毀的現象。也許是給我對這起事件一點點安慰的地方。

年初的幾個月，總是會迷迷糊糊的把日子裡的年份寫成去年的。

一份份的文件，簽個名，寫上dd/mm/11。翻下一頁。

大概是思想上還沒準備好，可是拿了年終花紅，趁著聖誕長假年尾大清銷血拼，看了年度十大新聞回顧；看了激昂倒數--十，九，八，七，六，五，四，三，二，一，零！瞬間煙花璀璨，看著情侶們熱情擁吻那一刻的感動，觸動到發了不知其數的短訊，MSN，臉書，微搏--用上大字母的“HAPPY NEW YEAR”！

怎麼可能。怎麼可能說思想上還沒準備好呢？
難道搞了那麼多一副滿心期待來年的動作，只是做做個樣子？
就像是擠公共巴士或是捷運一樣，總是在後面的時候在急，進了車子就慢了腳步。

於是過了七秒鐘，從扔到一邊的文件夾裡翻找剛剛的那一份文件，然後把"1"改成"Z"；還真的是很不像樣。還好明年的話還是可以這樣改的，後年可就要用刪的了。（*批注：壞習慣要改，居然Forecast到三年預算同樣的錯還要錯三年？這才是很不像樣。）

或是潛意識中表達了對上一年的不舍。

但2011有的是日本海嘯地震核危機，非洲乾旱飢荒千萬人，歐洲四國經濟隱憂，阿拉伯之春動盪不安（好像是喜事，但筆者看來有傷亡，有代價，如果有得選擇的話，任何人都寧願和平地轉型吧。）

很難想像對2011可以有什麼不捨。

但2012年似乎更陰雲密布：2011年歐元區滯留下的問題，始終不見任何決定性的轉機，卻到了多個國家的大選之年或是新一代交替；南海問題像是不斷在扯拉線索的結。

也許我不是在不捨著2011，也不是在畏懼這2012。而是想看看能不能像春上村書那樣，突然在這個世界出現了兩個月亮--我跳脫了這個世界，出現在201Z這個年份。（*幹！我就知道是這樣，抄襲！抄襲！）

Safety Interlock

The story start from 3 years ago, I got myself a Nokia 6500s, a decent phone, S60, comes with an dictionary application, chinese calendar, nice lens (for the time and the price). On top of that, it's stainless steel body cover with class. (which is the same reason I got an eye on Samsung Wave, but they don't have it on android phones.)

Somehow, one day it dropped from the 4th floor of Suntec Convention Center, which my heart had broken since. No other damages noticed so far, other than the micro SD card had not been functioning. Everytime I tried to access it, it either suddenly disappear from the GUI, nor caused a hang of the phone.

I coped with it for some time, before switching into the current Samsung Galaxy Spica as I renewed my contract. The Nokia 6500s since then become my secondary phone, especially while I am in Malaysia.

Last Sunday, I decided to send it for a fix, as I thought the fall  must had damaged the Micro SD card slot. The shops returned it back to me on the next day, charging me SGD30 for the work done, telling me that it worked.

I went home, tried it with my own Micro SD, nothing happened. I started to ponder as it is impossible that the shop thought that it worked. Desparately, I did a search. It turns out that there are quite some users had had the same issue as well.

Here comes the thing: Taking out the back cover and observe, you can find there are 4 spots of connecting points on the back of the sliding phone (Refer to Caption 1.). While the same applies to the stainless steel cover, having four protrusions each correspond to one of the connecting points mentioned earlier (three are by metal punching, and the last one close to the camera lens cover are of metal bending (Refer to Caption 2.). The four connection points must be connected, to have the Micro SD reader work, I believe they have it to prevent users having the micro SD card without installing the cover(or perhaps "properly installed the cover"), as the micro SD card may drop out.(Although I have alot of doubts for this purpose)

The one close to the camera lens was slightly flattened, I tested it by pushing down the cover tight, and the reader works again. Once I had my hands off, the cover springs back and hence, again disconnected. At the end of the day, a nail clipper saves the day. (See Caption 2.)

Conclusion
1) The phone GUI should have pop out warnings, such as "The back cover was not detected, please carefully install it to have access to the memory card", instead just gone off, auto switching to the phone memory itself.
2) Perhaps Nokia had mentioned it in the manual, I missed it.
3) My engineering failed, Nokia failed, Google wins.
4) As I always said, google is my best, if only I had asked for his help earlier, I could have save my coins.
